So, you might think:

“Who the he** is this guy calling himself the hometraininghero?”

Well, don’t be disappointed, but here goes:

  • I do not hold a PT certificate.
  • I am not an educated nutrition specialist.
  • I do not hold a master in “the art of workout”.
  • I am not a well known fitness athlete.

But what I do have is experience

At time being I’m a 36 year old engineer working in the oil and gas industry, father of two crazy boys aged 5 & 7 and as often as time allows it, a dedicated boyfriend. Oh, and by the way: I’m from Norway, -so excuse my English πŸ™‚

From my teen ages and upon I became a father to my first son, I was a “gym-semi-fanatic”. During these 10 years I went from a gym newbie to a self proclaimed workout-specialist. But as eventually family and work occupied most of my day hours I had to come up with a solution to keep fit, -in a most time efficient way as possible.

My solution?

Short and effective home workouts. Now, 6 years down the road I’m in better shape than ever!

  • Bench press
  • Dead lifts
  • Shoulder press
  • Squats
  • Pull-ups
  • Killer Cardio

The list goes on…

Using your furniture, bodyweight and a couple of affordable pieces of exercise equipment you can actually do twice the amount of exercises that the gym down the road can offer…

And you know what?

All it takes is 20-30 minutes 3-4 times a week.

By reading my blog I will do my best to show you and teach you how to make room for some exercise in your life, -even if you’re a mom or dad with minimal free “time-pockets” during your rat-race days…
